Light perception was the stage at which I stopped caring about my sight, and the best vision I ever had was 10% acuity, which to me was pretty good as I lived a fairly normal life with it, but if you consider the numbers, it was actually pretty bad.
Humans with 100% acuity do see very well, assuming no other issues, and 100% is only an average. I think that the only species with a better acuity than humans' are birds.

Edited to add that 10% acuity is the top-end of the legal blindness spectrum in the US, for example.
