Spotify's new UI accessibility (self.Blind)
submitted by Nemaavla
Hello.
I don't know, how are Your experiences with new Spotify's user interface for Windows, or in another operating systems too. Many people wants to return back to previous user interface. What do You think about It?
Also, post Your ideas to Spotify community please to make It more accessible for the blind. For me, current interface is more accessible, as previous interface. I have tried It on web and I think It same.

Personally, I don’t have that many problems with the new design. But I also didn’t have problems with the old one. The only thing, that really actually annoys me with the new design is, that every time I click on an album, the cursor seems to jump to the bottom of the page. I wish, it wouldn’t do that. But apart from that, it’s pretty OK.

I know my suggestion is not going to be good for people who do not want to stop using spotify, but I recommend giving YouTube music a chance. If you're going to use it on the computer, I suggest either going directly to the YouTube music website on your browser or download a third party app which is much better than the official one. If anyone is interested in it message me and I will post the link here.

Just like in any community, I guess blind/VI don't much like it when the interface significantly changes on them :)

I would say it has become more accessible and easier to navigate, you just need to unlearn a lot of the things you were used to doing to compensate for things being broken. Like ... you can use landmarks to zizp around now, there's more keyboard shortcuts etc.

There things I prefer about each of them.
