Do you know a landline phone for an elderly blind person? (self.Blind)
submitted by Monsy_Jr
Hi Redditors,

The health of a family member of mine is declining really fast. He is not really technological savvy, so it should be something plain and simple. My searchresults all point to smartphones, but we are looking for a stationary landline that does not need charging nor is accessible with voice control. The only functions it has to have is to preprogram some phone numbers and dial family members with one press. (Multiple buttons for multiple numbers)

We live in Europe (Belgium) and I think those landline phones have a standard connection.

If you have an alternative I will be happy to hear it!

Kind regards

The RNIB in the UK have a number of big-button phones, some made by BT which will probably be available overseas. Many of these have a number of buttons for speed-dialing regular numbers.
