My cousin is graduating high school. I'm curious if you have any unique gift recommendations that she might find especially helpful or valuable? I'd like to spend less than $150.
Thanks!

especially helpful: for Christmas my friends got me this neat little system with a remote and five beeping beacons. So I have one on my wallet, one on my cell phone, one on my keychain, etc, and you click the remote corresponding to the beacon you want to find and then the beacon beeps at you until you find it and turn it off.
especially valuable: a website I know of for Braille jewellery Elegant Insights Braille Creations.
what did I get for graduation of high school? a copy of the book O the Places You'll Go, a few books filled with quotes of wisdom and some jokes from my educational assistant who had known me since the first grade, and also I got this pendant that says "faith"

Do you remember what the beacon device was called?
Well this really depends what they are interested in, assistive technology is expensive and that really needs to be handled by the individual because nothing is a fit-all a piece of tactile jewelry or a pendant with braille on it if they know how to read it or tactile art might be appreciated, I like my google home a lot, though you could ask what they have been wanting/needing for the next step in their life.

You could get a Kindle and a few books for under $150

What does she like?

I'm not sure! I don't know her that well so I was curious if there was some cool gadget the community loves that I just don't know about. I guess the simplest thing to do would be to ask her!

Are they heading on to 3rd level or moving out of home or anything?

No, she will continue to stay home with her parents.

A Google nest, Alexa type thing? If she's going to 3rd level will the college provide all the equipment she needs like digital magnifiers etc. Or even a non "blind" gift. Restaurant vouchers, tickets for a gig
