OmniSense Cane tip? (self.Blind)
submitted by PrincessDie123
Hello all, I recently discovered the existence of an Omni-directional cane tip called the Omni-Sense tip and I would like to try it but even the company can’t tell me if their slip on version is compatible with a Revolution Cane and it’s rather expensive to purchase without knowing if it will work on my cane. Has anyone here had success fitting this tip on a revolution cane?

I haven't used one myself, and thanks to this video, I doubt I ever will. You should be fine attaching it to any folding cane according to this:

That was very helpful, thank you!

You're more than welcome. I really love the Revolution graphite canes. They've saved my wrist over the last 6 years or so that I've been using them. Going back to aluminium now and again is such a task, especially on longer journeys.

Yeah I switched to revolution because my ambutech would break itself down while I was walking when the joints got weak, which happened too fast for my liking. I wish the revolution could have the hook attachments though.

That's the one thing I miss about the Ambutech canes. I learnt to re-string a tip while drunk. It's a wonderful universal piece of design.
