there are many gifted blind programmers out there. the guys who first programmed NVDA are blind. so i guess there is only one way to find out. give it your best try.

I don’t see why you can’t. As long as you can program and understand the workings of a computer I mean it should be possible. I am also studying to do computer work so I don’t see why not. I think career fit or aptitude would be a better question.

Absolutely. My doctorate is in the field of applied machine learning. Many of the tools for ML are command line, and will output json or another text format. Many of the ideas in ML are more math based, so you can often find code snippets that implement equations and backfill your knowledge from there.

Not only can you become an AI engineer/developer, but you can learn the limitations of current AI and become an expert in hybrid approaches. Why not?
If you don’t know Python, tinkering with that programming language would be part of your journey.
