My grandmother has asked me to record her recipes as audio - what’s the best way to do so, so she can access them as she continues to lose her vision? (self.Blind)

My grandmother is slowly losing her vision. We went through her recipe book together and marked which ones she wants to continue making. I’m going to record myself reading them for her.

What’s the best way to do this so she can find them - something that works with Siri or Google, etc.

Appreciate any advice!

or, if you're not set on using your own recordings, there's recipespeak.com

I've done this for a friend using a Raspberry Pi Zero w and the My Media skill.
I can add content remotely and he can trigger playbackat his discression.

Bit of a techno-fiddle but fairly cheap. Getting your own content into Alexa is a bit of a pain. You might have a smoother experience with a tablet or something, but that assumes she can use a touchscreen.

Other solutions might be something like a Penfriend label device, or a digital voice recorder?

A Victor Reader is an awesome device.

You could buy a talking digital voice recorder like the Micro-Speak Plus for her and record it on there.
