I have the Apple Watch but would like a chest strap to connect to my pm5 on my rowing machine
Anyone have a chest strap that gives him some kind of beep when it it’s turned on and another one when it connects so you know it’s ready to go?

Not strictly what you asked for but get a wahoo chest strap.
Then you can get real time audio feedback of your current heart rate. I find it very useful for training

Thank you, I am assuming you are blind? Does the chest strap connect to the pm5 or are you talking about it’s connecting to your phone and that calling out your heart rate

Yeah it connects to the phone. Then on the wahoo app you can get it to read your heart rate out every minute or at an interval you like. I use it all the time for lots of different training
