Hello,
We are currently seeking participants for a study on eye movement and voice control to investigate possibilities for improving screen magnification and navigation for people with low vision. Participants will be compensated for their time with $10.
Requirement:
We are seeking participants who identify as low vision, regularly use ZoomText or similar software to read on-screen text, and who are fluent in speaking English. Our goal is to recruit as many people as possible who have some form of impaired vision (vision other than 20/20). Thus, if you are legally blind, have low vision, or have corrected-to-normal vision, we would be especially grateful for your participation in our study.

$10 for how much time? That seems absurdly low unless this is a 10-minute study.

By participating you would help researchers create new technologies for low vision users. It is a low reward but the participation would be very helpful.

I understand. I conduct this kind of research for a living. I also understand the value of compensating people for their time, especially when their time will be used to make other people money, and doubly especially when those people are too often unemployed or underemployed because of discrimination.

Hello, am interested in helping with this. I’m low vision, legally blind, have aphakia and other eye conditions. I use enlarged text, zoom, and screen readers on phone and computer.
