My partner is on disability, and I am wondering if they would be unable to stay on it if we wanted to get married. Does anybody have any insight or experience in this?
Btw, they are on disability due to blindness and do not work, they are completely blind. We live in the US.

If on ssdi it's based on their record it won't. If on ssi it will because of income guidelines, from my understanding.
My ssdi was not effected because of my marriage.

Check with the local social security office. From what I've read the answer is no, the benefits won't change.

So many complicated rules. They can't just make anything easy. They especially make attempting to work a big headache when on it.

Partner’s SSDI was unaffected by marriage. You should be fine. Be aware—if they are on a parent’s health insurance they will potentially get kicked off because of marriage. Check tax rules for filing jointly—can’t remember what that situation is.

When you get married, weather you are working or not as a blind person, they still want to know how much your spouse makes so they can deduct from the benefits. It sucks, but the system isn't designed for us to gain at all. I am going threw this right now. I have to make a call today in fact. Sorry for the bad news, but that' s how good old uncle Sam rolls.

When I was married, I was able to keep my SSDI, but unfortunately lost pretty much every other benefit I had. If she is currently getting Medicaid, food stamps, heating assistance, etc., she is no longer going to be eligible for that stuff.
That being said, everything goes by your combined income. Our combined income brought us into a higher tax bracket so my SSDI is now being taxed pretty heavily. Check with your local Social Security office for additional questions.

Check your local SSA as rules differ by location but much of it will be determined by your income.
