Memory I have a great memory. And I get so frustrated when people move things without telling me. Like my dad didn’t put the ac remote back in the holder one day then he was at work and I came back from a walk in hot weather and couldn’t find it and literally cried because I couldn’t find it anywhere.
Also how I find things since I’m legally blind If it’s big enough I look for the color of the object and size and also feel around.
Important things I almost never loose because I keep extra close track of them. Like right now all my electronics are right under my bed and I don’t let my siblings use them usually so they don’t get moved and the settings and stuff doesn’t get messed with.

I remeber when my daughter was little she would use her finger tips and walk the perimeter of a room touching the wall and kinda map it out.
If something is ever changing i would think they'd need assistance of some kind, apps, be my eyes, a human helping etc, but if itsso ethereal they know then they're fine.
I would like to think out of respect never mind safety if you changed something in your house you would tell them and in work I would hope someone would tell the blind staff member if the printer was moved for example

Memorization is key. For me, the approach is a little different, depending on what kind of place we're talking about. If it's a hotel, I might ask the front desk staff about important locations, such as my room, restaurants, and shuttle stops. For most public places, I figure it out as I go, sometimes asking directions along the way. I carry a small monocular telescope for reading signs and other spot-distance viewing, as I do have a little sight. I'm not afraid to ask a staff person, cop, janitor, or other passerby for a quick assist. I'm like, "Hey dude, do you by any chance know where the restroom is?"

Usually just a matter of spatial awareness for me. First time I go somewhere, I might get help. Next time I go, don’t need help, know where everything is from memory.

Most people are talking about interior spaces here, but Blindsquare is good for getting to know a new city. It's the one app I miss from iPhone.
