I think this is a great idea!

I'm not sure about the name though. I understand it, but my mind when straight the thinking of United States instead of Ushers syndrome. But you are good on the name, I haven't seen another brand with that name.

Serious questions. Do you know the rules and regulations of selling food out of your home? Proper food handling procedures? In some areas they require an inspection of your home to make sure it's up to standard. Do you need a servesafe manager food handlers certificate? Do you know proper handwashing and glove procedures?

Look into what is required in your area, it does differ from place to place. Are there any allergens you're using to season the jerky? You'll need to include that in packaging.

Yeah all good points. Where I am at there isnt many regulations for selling homemade food. We have a large amish community here so its pretty regular trade. And I had same thought with the US. What about USh Jerky?

Completely unrelated, but are the Amish kind to people with disabilities? I know they have some... odd beliefs, and I'm just wondering.

Havent noticed any ill intent towards disabilities. Though havent had many opportunities to see that.

Pun intended?
