So... like many others I am a low vision individual. As a child I had full sight but as I aged my vision started to degrade as a result of other underlying conditions. Right now i only I have 20/400 in my one good eye and the quality of that vision isn't the best, so taking hand written notes is kind of off the table for me. like it is for others
With that all being said I want to share how I take notes currently. It is essential for me in my profession and I am always looking for new ways or even insights to note taking that I might not have thought to think of yet. Currently I use a combination of voice memos and digital notes in apps like Evernote, google docs and some others that are simmiliar.
How do you guys and gals take notes in this wonderful technological era we live in?

I honestly type in the Notes app on my phone most of the time. I have enough vision to read large print, so I hand write notes in the boldline spiral notebooks from APH

I had to take notes on lectures and presentations all the time at university. Usually I found just typing out any important point was easy enough, and sometimes people would put up text copies of the power point presentations.

I live in my Notes app, Google Keep is pretty good too.

I tend to use a system called Dendron, which is a Visual Studio Code extension made for making hierarchical notes. It's all Markdown so if I would want to modify notes on, say, an iPhone, I'd just have to copy over the folder that contains all my notes to Dropbox or similar, but yeah, that is what I tend to use these days.

I type also. Audio literally means listening at least twice - so why bother? Typed or brailled notes are searchable and totally up to me in terms of style etc. I like the drafts App on iOS, Google Keep, or just notepad on various platforms.

I just type them, usually in Google Docs, sometimes in Dropbox Paper. It all depends on who I Might need to s hare them with.

Typewritten in plain text in Notepad, mostly. Did my notes this way for school, and have kept doing the same thing at work. I don’t need a full word processor just for taking notes, so I like the simplicity of Notepad. If I need to share with someone else, I can always copy-paste into Word, and pretty up my notes if needed.

I typed my notes using numbered lists in Microsoft Word on a laptop. I stick in earbud in one ear to hear my screen reader and leave the other open to hear the professor
