Hi,
I’m an iOS engineer at a company that creates a recipe finding and sharing app. I’m trying to make sure the experience is really accessible for VoiceOver users, but I don’t have much to compare to.
I was wondering if anyone has any examples of recipe/cooking accessible apps, websites etc they think have good accessibility?

I can’t recommend any recipe apps because I use that stuff online.

I would suggest having something like the dynamic reader view in Safari for those with low vision. Add image description and sort ingredients, tools, and instructions by headings. Maybe find a way to incorporate Google Home/Assistant, Siri Shortcuts and Alexa skills too.
