You should contact your state's vision loss rehabilitation center to see how to start the process for getting rehabilitation training. They may also know local resources in terms of learning new skills for jobs.

This appears to be a link for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, Blind and Low Vision Services. It does mention career counseling, guidance and training. There seems to be offices in four cities, so you'll probably have to call the one closest to you.

That’s a great start, I didn’t know such services were available. Thank you!

Best of luck! Do some searching around, your state may have other services as well (I believe Lighthouse is also a common one, but not sure if there is one in your state).

I would honestly tell you to start with Lighthouses near you. I suggest you contact the HTTP://mabsop.org

Let them know your situation and to see if they have any services to offer you and also contact one of the lighthouses like the lighthouse of SF or Seattle.
