Need help selecting a phone. (self.Blind)

I am newly diagnosed legally blind and need help with selecting a phone I have cortical blindness so I can see just less than 15⁰ in all directions larger is not helpful bc I have 20/20 acuity.

Wow cool that you say that bc I had an SE years ago and it was my favorite phone. Also do you know of any social type forums? I am not currently on social media. I'mve only been dealing with this for 6 months and it be cool to get to know ppl and advise from like ppl. Thanks.

If you want to dm me on here go for it, i was recently labelled legally blind 2 months and diagnosed with ushers a year ago. Only other social media i use is Facebook and rarely at that haha

You sound like you have similar vision as me. I got the Iphone SE, nice and small so i can see most of the screen and it was cheap! Highly recommend it. (I have <20 degrees in right and <15 in left)

I would still go for a larger one to protect that remaining vision as much as possible. 90%+ of the phones nowadays are 6" or more anyway, go for a mid-to-high end one (Samsung Galaxy S and A series, Google Pixel 5 or 4a, Sony Xperia 1 or 5, Apple iPhone 12 series or the dozens of Chinese brands).
