Hi Reddit,
my friend is a visually impaired senior citizen and lives in the Treasure Coast area of Florida and is seeking any assistance in terms of resources through the city / county / state / federal government to help her to continue to live independently. I don’t even know what to do or where to start but I figured I would just come here and inquire because everyone knows people on Reddit know everything!

I know Florida has a lighthouse for the blind. But depending on where you’re live that might not be an option. But check it out. It’s a very good resource and when I worked with them they really helped me.
