Unlike other civil rights, the Executive Branch doesn't help solve issues that violate the ADA. The law sets up the courts to handle issues. This means lawsuits are the corrective action permitted by the ADA to fix issues. It really sucks, actually. My local town has a lot of sidewalks with telephone poles right in the middle of them. A clear ADA violation. To get anyone to do anything about it, I'd have to sue the city, which would generate a lot of bad PR for me personally. Its a messy situation.
