submitted by bradley22
Hi, I have a friend who's blind, i'd like to introduce him to reddit but he uses android whereas I use IOS.

I used to know of a good reddit app, dreddit? Something like that.

Can any android users help me?

"Reddit is fun" is another one. It's what I'm using on a first gen Pixel.

Sidebar favorites list to keep track of subReddits and search for subreddits. It works well (or well enough for me) for viewing and commenting.

Disclaimer: I mostly Reddit on my desktop and only use the Pixel when away from home or away from desk; so I may not be the best advisor.

As with any Android app, its accessibility comes down to developer integration with talkback (the android version of Voice over). Therefore, issues with images that are not descriptive or screenshotted posts will not be accessible.

Disclaimer out of the way... Boost for Reddit is my preferred Reddit client. Accessibility with talkback rating: 95%.

The app has text size customization and theming. I mention in case your friend has some vision.

Hope this helps.
