Hi, we are members of the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) research team in the Department of Computer Sciences, University of Wisconsin Madison. We are collaborating with the research teams at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the City University of Hong Kong to study how people with disabilities use and perceive their avatars on social VR platforms. We are looking for participants with disabilities to understand their avatar experiences.
In this study, you will be interviewed over a zoom call about your experiences with social VR platforms and virtual avatars. We may also ask you to share your screen via Zoom to demonstrate your avatar on social VR platforms. The interview will last approximately one hour.
To participate in the study, participants must:
1. be at least 18 years old
2. have visual impairments or motor disabilities
3. have experience using social VR platforms and avatars

You will receive a $15/hour compensation for your participation.
