Question about Envision AI and glasses. (self.Blind)

Hello all.
So yesterday, I downloaded Envision AI so I could try it out. At some point, I hope to get the Envision glasses. It's just a matter of what Division of Blind Services will do at this point. I understand that the Envision glasses give you a lifetime subscription to the Envision AI app once you connect them, but I have a question about that.
So my free trial ends in two weeks. Say I end up getting the glasses in a month. How would I go about pairing them? Would I have to purchase a subscription temporarily in order to pair them? Or is there still an option to pair even if your trial has ended and you didn't buy one of the plans?

Probably worth calling envisionAI and asking them.
