Matrix four trailer with audio descriptions (youtube.com)

The audio description itself is really nice. Thank you. I appreciate when trailers are described. One thing that drives me absolutely insane both as a lover of audio description and as an audio producer however is severely ducking the audio when the description happens. I find it completely unnecessary most of the time, and when it’s done as much as it is here it’s very emergent breaking. You lose all sense of music and sound when that happens.

Hi. I'm a member of the team who worked on this. I should clarify that the audio isn't ducked here, the visuals and audio of the trailer itself are paused in order to provide an expanded description. The amount of detail covered wouldn't have fit within the time of a standard inline description. We're not fans of excessive ducking in inline descriptions either.

A fantastic inline description also exists if you fancy checking it out:

Oh, very cool. I’m not sure how I did not notice that. You are quite right. It is a good description.

THank you SO much. This is great!

Will have to watch Matric 1, 2 and 3 again now. Have totally forgotten them.

I hope they are in audio descriptions as well somewhere

Edit: Just checked Netflix. Yes, they have audio!!

Oh fuck yes. Thank you. I'm even more excited for this movie now.

Also wow this movie has trans written all over it. Getting some lesbian energy from Trinity and Neo in the coffee shop... or maybe that's just me projecting lol

I just would like to clarify that I did not produce this video! I am just another blind person that is passing this along to the rest of the blind community. I would highly recommend going to their YouTube channel and subscribing and putting those comments in over there so they can hear it.
Thanks
Have a great day
