I bought a Samsung Watch 3 (41mm) for my wife. While it's waterproof and it talks, it has a VERY pathetic battery life! (Hardly lasts 1 day, even with the screen turned off fully! As she only needs the voice).
Defeats the purpose.
Can anyone recommend any GOOD smartwatch (waterproof and LONG battery) for fitness etc?
P.S Is there any good site for things for the blind people. My wife wants to start cooking again but without any tools to visually impaired people, I am scared for her to go near fire, boil water etc (maybe this deserves a separate thread. Perhaps we should compile a list of blind friendly products and bookmark it in this subreddit)

Lighthouse for the Blind has a store called $1that sells products specifically for blind users.

Personally, I really liked the Fitbit. It lasts for around five days, and it’s water resistant. The downside to it is that she won’t be able to access her health information while she’s on the go. However, when she gets home after work or after her workout session, she can sync her Fitbit to the app on her phone which should work fine. Where she’ll be able to get all of her stats and everything like that.

Fitbit talks (time). Everything else she was access from the phone

That's weird. My friend has the Samsung 3 45MM version and he pulls 3 days out of it. Have you turned off the settings that drain battery that you don't really need like wi-fi, animations, etc?

Animations are off, Screen is off as well (as wife uses only voice). Wifi stays on though

How long does it need to last? I can get about two days out of my Apple Watch SE, and it’s fully accessible

The normal fitbitz, amazfit etc even last 2 weeks! 1-2 days is too less
