NVDA training material? (self.Blind)
submitted by SoapyRiley
Has anyone purchased the NVDA training material? Worth it? I’m considering the productivity bundle to reduce the bumbling around I’m doing going back and forth from the user manual to the programs I’m working in. Mostly Outlook and Excel are used outside of browser-based software.

I bought the Outlook and the Microsoft Word programs. Totally worth it. They provide activities as it progresses and it really helps to build skill. The basic training guide is probably my favorite one. Best way to learn NVDA correctly, IMO.

If nothing else, it's a good way to support the developers.

absolutely fabulous reference works for beginners. Not sure the bundle's worth it, especiallyif you're not in Australia.

Thanks! Can you expand on the outside Australia part? Is because the phone support? I’m in USA.

Yeah, just the cost of calling AUS really. But obviously, as a free screen reader it's well worth supporting if you can afford it.
