How do I turn on the onscreen qwerty keyboard on the braillenote Touch? (self.Blind)
submitted by ruinawish
Thanks in advance.

I know it's possible, I just can't remember the shortcut. Couldn't find it in the manual either.

I didn't think it had one, barring disabling keysoft. You can turn touch-braille off by pressing the left and right outer thumb-keys together to use more conventional swipe gestures, but whether or not that lets you enter text that way is something I've never even considered.

Thanks for your response.

I asked one of my colleagues, and they informed that to get the onscreen touch keyboard on the screen, you hold the two volume buttons on the side together for a few seconds.

Same thing to then turn it off.

ah, turning off Keysoft then, as I said earlier.

Ah, sorry if I misunderstood, I really don't grasp the language/interface of the device.

:) that's alright,; it's an irritating interface anyway.

Keysoft is effectively the Humanware Screen reader - or accessibility service in android language.
With it off, the braillenote behaves like a normal tablet to the sighted.
