Using conacademy and statistics. (self.Blind)
submitted by [deleted]
I'm currently taking statistics, and the teacher has decided to use con academy for some exercises. Are there any accessibility challenges I should expect? Does anyone have any experience?

Khan academy my beloved!! I use it a TON for learning. The information is always detailed even for math videos so that I often didn’t bother to look at the screen (as I have some useable vision). Got me through my GED and a wonderful resource. All videos have captions as well & the practice problem pop up for doing math work with NVDA.

Oh my gosh, the videos and lectures and information on there is amazing. However, I would avoid taking some of the quizzes. A lot of times I found that the quiz questions are not accessible and are presented in graphics. And if you’re on mobile, the calculator that pops up whenever you need to fill in an answer for a quiz is not accessible either. But everything else is fine and you should have no problems.

The Khan Academy classes are good. The only trouble I've had with them is the videos aren't always sequential. Sometimes you watch the first one then the third one pops up next, leaving you wondering what happened to the second one.

It's spelled "Kahn Academy."
