Have you run tests comparing your game to the Braille edition of Scrabble? If you haven't already, you might seek to specifically recruit current players of Braille Scrabble. That may still only represent a fraction of the game players you'd like to reach, but experienced players may give you a lot of good feedback quickly.

For browser/device info, check out the WebAIM surveys. There's a lot of data to mull over:

I don't have time to answer at the moment, but I'm visually impaired and would love to help out. I'll get back to this in the next 24 hours.

As a heads up, making something that is technologically based isn’t a great idea. It’s just not as accessible, especially when it comes to LV/Blind people who may not be able to use voice over. I believe voice over is IOS only and iPhones are really expensive. Maybe larger game pieces with high contrast. It would also probably end up being less expensive to make.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. iOS/MacOS are the two primary platforms because of the person that's helping us uses those as primary devices, so it's been easier to work with him that route. All devices will have VoiceOver or an alternative (Android has Voice Access, Windows has Narrator). We even have tests going well with NVDA. We have support for all iOS devices, all Android devices (tested and working on a 12-year-old android and a $19.99 android from Walmart), and all Windows devices (with Chrome and Edge).

Being a smaller team, we don't have a lot of quick ways to test on wide arrays of operating systems and devices very quickly, but basically as long as someone has a smartphone or computer, regardless of what phone or computer it is, it should be able to play our game. It's played directly in the browser, so anything that can navigate the internet could theoretically access it.

Our main bugs come from certain browsers or operating systems handling things a little different from each other, but when we find out about them, we can typically fix them for those devices/browsers. The issue typically comes from whether or not we're aware of the issue because, again, our limited testing capabilities.

When you say for the blind do you mean a braille version? That's great but a huge amount of VI and blind don't use braille, high contrast clear bold lettering could be useful

Not braille. We’re using VoiceOver to announce things based on what your finger is pressing on.
