My fiance's family cat is 19 (!!!). She's lost her hearing, losing her vision now. She's a happy girl, but this video! :'( (v.redd.it)

I really hope none of your family end up addressed in that tone if their vision degrades...

They don't :) I'm legally blind, and they are super respectful, helpful, the works. That's my fiance's brother, and they've had that big girl since she was teeny. So even if he sounds a bit rude, he adores that big lady like you wouldn't believe.

I would never assume that the way someone talks to a deaf cat would be the way they would talk to a person. I'm legally blind, I LOVE cats, and I absolutely adore senior animals. This girl is such a precious old lady, I wish I could give her scritches! (With all the cat subreddits I'm in I totally didn't realize this was the blind sub until after I had already watched the video!) We had a cat who lived to be 23 (!) and never lost his hearing or eyesight, but we also had a dog who went fully blind and deaf by the end and it made things very hard for her </3 Glad this little lady is a happy girl!

I should hope not, hey?

I'll make sure my fiance gives her all the loving on your behalf! I would, but I seem to be allergic to her now :(((

That's amazing!!! I hope this big miss over here lives to be 23+ :) I'm sorry to hear about your dog though, I hope you made sure she lived the most luxurious life possible!
