We literally just covered this in my Eye Physiology & Anatomy class last night! There should be around 60° of peripheral vision nasal, but people with prominent proboscis may have less. Therefore, you are completely normal, in your abnormality! 😜

I think that's anxiety, makes out brains go into overdrive and we notice things we know has been there since we can remember!

This would also make sense!! I have an anxiety disorder, but when I looked it up, all the solutions were about closing one eye and then opening the other. Which is, of course, a problem when you can only see in one eye lol!

I have a massive problem with this when I'm wearing a facemask - it's like over the years my brain got used to ignoring my nose, but now that my nose is blue/red/black/etc (depending on my mask) my brain is like "omg what's that!" the whole time.
