If you don't mind, what software do you use? I am not an accountant, but the company I work for uses Quickbooks Desktop and it sucks with screen readers. I even have some scripts for JAWS, and it still is hard to use.

Excel wherever possible.
We have in house audit and tax programs and they are terrible with screenreaders. I use a mix of 60x magnification and exporting to excel

That kind of sucks, but it is nice to know it isn't just me having issues.
