Hey guys I'm legally blind with a guide dog, have a little vision but not a ton. looking to start dating again and would love to hear tips and tricks/ some good stories from all of you. I haven't dated since before my vision got really bad so this is somewhat new territory for me. appraise the feedback!

I wrote my $1 a few months after losing all of my vision and getting back into the dating scene. It's a fun thing to send to my dates before we meet up and it has worked out really well. :)

Dogs parks- even if your guide dog isn’t in it inside playing. Just outside in the chilling area humans love dogs and to talk to and about them.

Most people who Ive heard talk about dating on YouTube suggest online dating. It makes meeting people easier if you dont really go out or find it really hard to socialize. Definitely try to keep it local because it makes it much easier. You could also get set up on dates with friends of friends or siblings of riends etc to get started. Im personally in a long distance relattionship but I know that its not for everyone. Btw by online dating I do not mean having an online relationship but meeting people onliine and getting to know them that way before meeing in person.

Thanks for the tips! Any recommendations on what sites? I know some have reputations of just people looking for hookups, would like more than that

Tbh I didnt use a dating site but I think as long as you put in your proile that youre looking fo r a relationship that should fend off the people looking for hook-ups. I know tindeer has a bad reputation but ive also heard o people meeting great people on there. Accordng to my google search Bumble and OKCupid are good apps to try. They also list $1 but it isnt free. Good Luck! I hope you can find yourself someone special.
