(20 minutes & chance to win £50 Amazon Voucher!!)

**Help us understand how accessible and enjoyable video games are for people with sight loss. (Research being performed by the Royal National Institute for the Blind)**

$1

The study is aimed at understanding blind and partially sighted people’s experiences, needs and preferences in relation to playing games and how this compares with sighted gamers. It will also seek to understand how enjoyable existing games are to play for people with a vision impairment.

The research team will also explore the level of sight-loss awareness that exists in the gaming industry and look at how to improve knowledge of accessibility features, remove barriers for their inclusion and encourage their adoption in games.

We’re inviting any and **all gamers** to complete the survey- it doesn't matter what platform you use (PC, console, mobile device, etc) or type of game you play (strategy, puzzle, adventure, MMO, etc). **We want to hear from everyone!**

Participating should take 20-25 minutes and the questions you get will be tailored to you based on basic information you provide about your sight level and gaming habits.

**After completing the study, you will have a chance to enter into a prize draw for a £50 Amazon voucher.**

This study is hosted by the RNIB Accessible Gaming Research consortium, led by the Royal National Institute of Blind People, and supported by researchers with experience in media and gaming from i2 media research at Goldsmiths, University of London and University of Edinburgh, Moray House School of Education and Sport.

Sorry, but a **chance** to win a voucher in exchange for the certainty of spending time?

I don't want to slight the important work done by the RNIB, but it strikes me that even a small grant would provide for paying every participant at least the national minimum wage.

That's generally not how surveys are done
