I get ya! I got my ears pierced at about 14 maybe? I wasn't allowed to get another row of ear piercings, or any other piercing for that matter, so each time my mom went on hols, I'd do it, enjoy it for the 2 weeks and then take it out when she got back. When I turned 18 although she was disappointed and abit angry bout it there was little she could do.

I think parents have to pick their battles and I hope now as a parent, I will pick my battles well. Already one has ears piercing, at 8 and I allow hair dye (lockdown started that trend, one also has a bit of hair shaved, which can be hidden if ever needed.

I think temporary things should be allowed.

I'm.not sure how old you are, but is she the only person who can bring you? Can you go with pals after school? And older sibling. Or just hop on the bus?
