Two ideas.
Something that I can clip onto my wallet and/or keys that will make a noise when I clap or speak.
Or something like one of those 'find my phone' GPS apps for a wallet or keys.

Tile does something like this. You attach it to wallet, keys, &c, and it’ll play a noise when you activate it via your phone. I believe the Apple AirTags also work this way. Tile, and possibly AirTags, also do the reverse, press a button on the Tile, and it’ll play a noise on your phone so you can find it.
