A mix of favorites and mostused: Youtube, Twitterrific, Dice World, Swordy Quest, Seeing AI, Nearby Explorer, Dystopia (still in beta), Audible, NLS Bard, Voice Dream Reader, the usual streaming apps, Overcast, and I know there are more I’m missing. I use plenty of first-party apps as well, of course, but I figured you were after third-party ones.

I like overcast, but made the switch back to the native podcast app after I kept having some issues. You are the second person to mention dystopia. Have you tried Apollo? Developer is actually very accommodating for screenreader‘s.

I tried it a few years ago and wasn’t impressed. I’m sure it's improved a lot since then, but Dystopia does what I need extremely well, so I’ve not yet had the need to try another app. If the beta expires or the project is abandoned, it's good to know the’s another option.

I got lire after reading your comment. Saved me money on Apple News and even better accessibility. Thanks!

Nice. Yeah if you go through Lire’s accessibility/ voiceover options you can see they put a ton of thought into supporting blind users.

Indeed. More accessible than apples news app.
