Backlit keyboard recommendation wanted (self.Blind)
submitted by tallman222
I'm looking for a good backlit keyboard to prop up my diming vision. I've tried several, but they have be disappointing for one reason or another. Do any of you use a keyboard that you would recommend?

I use a Ducky One2. Fairly good lights. If you want even more try a mechanical keyboard with pudding keycaps like this one: https://youtu.be/lOpJ9PPD5sY

Even better if you learn touch typing.

Thanks. I'll check out the Ducky one2. I can touch type, but I have trouble with finger placement sometimes and special symbols and functions. Keyboards vary somewhat in layout, and I have several that I use in the course of a day.

This is the best option I've found at a reasonable pricepoint. Large print and backlit.

How intense do you need the light?
tallman222 [OP] 1 points 1y ago
The light should be quite bright and preferably white.

They have pudding keys which glow even brighter.

Its pricey but it's SUPER BRIGHT.

Thanks for the suggestion. Alas, pudding keycaps have too much light in the wrong place, making the letters too hard to read. However, it looks like HyperX has some other versions which may be suitable.
