Cane was fine as long as the pole was bubble wrapped! (So no collapsing) there was Braille on all the door and I was put in a room across from the desk so I could have close help. Meds were standard so? Eh? They didn’t mind my Scribble either!
Tbh the main issue I had was the food?? They really said no right for lactose intolerants.
*However* I already had a friend call in and explain the situation. (Already told them fr emergency number etc) and I really think that made a big difference in my care.
(I was also put in the older teens despite being 20~ but that’s cause I’m short lol)

Um I was told I wasn't legally blind and they treated that as another "symptom". They told me my "mother" said I only needed glasses.
My STEPMOM is known for lying, has a documented history of medical neglect, had her own children taken away for it, and I was 19. They had no legal right to call her and tell her I was there and I was there because she had threatened me with a gun. And the police, after filing a report about that, had taken me to social services trying to get help because all the domestic violence and homeless shelters were full. They had her pick me up and it took another two months to escape again. She was extremely abusive, and very controlling. Had me in a house in the rural country with no phone or internet access. Only reason I escaped was stealing HER phone when she was careless both times.
