Technology question?? (self.Blind)
submitted by YALLWOLF
My eyesight has gotten too bad to use computers or laptops. The only device I can use anymore is my phone. I was wondering what software or programs do other blind people use to make laptops and PCs accessible?

For windows, Zoomtext can be used to magnify, while JAWS or NVDA works as a screen reader. For Macs, you can use VoiceOver.

I run NVDA pretty much exclusively these days.

If you're using Linux Orca is the JAWS equivalent. Also, Ubuntu and other distros also have very useful magnification settings.
