I’m a blind crypto novice looking for a hardware wallet that is accessible for the visually-impaired. Through Google, I was aware of a project known as “Icy Wallet,” but the project’s website is either down or inaccessible via the Safari browser.

I'd like an answer to this question as well. I've read so many things about different products but it's like blind/legally blind people aren't even on their radar. I mean I'm used to this by now but it still pisses me off.

Hey there! I will let you know what I find out. I wish Apple would make a hardware wallet, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Hey guitarandbooks, I got a couple of responses. Someone was using a hot wallet in conjuction with a Yubi key, while the other mentioned the Arculus cold wallet. Hope that helps!

u/fastfinge will probably know a good answer to this!

I wish I did. I'm currently using an online wallet with a YubiKey for two factor. Unfortunately, most hardware wallets require the ability to read the display to use them.

Do you have recommendations for accessible hot wallets with yubikey support? Windows, iOS, or Linux?

$1 cold storage was recommended to me by a blind crypto enthusiast. It's a card that you use in combination with an app. I'm sighted and haven't tried this myself so I can't vouch for it at all, but you might want to give it a try!
