A question about the accessibility in windows 11? (self.Blind)
submitted by Wooden_Suit5580
I will be getting a new laptop soon that has windows 11, I would like to know if the accessibility has gotten any better, the same, or worse, than Windows 10?
If anybody has any experience with Windows 11 and the accessibility settings could you please help me out with this?
Thank you

It's about the same as Windows 10. You'll be fine.

This is a tough question to answer without knowing specifics. First of all, do you use a screen reader, screen magnification, or a combo of both? All I know is that accessibility hasn't gotten worse in Windows 11, but I can't verify that it has gotten better either. I'm on older hardware so I can't upgrade to Windows 11. I know many people are turning to the built in magnifier, but everyone still installs a third party screen reaer on Windows.

I am totally blind and I use screen readers exclusively. I was wondering if anybody was having any issues using NVDA with windows 11? It seems to be pretty safe or pretty on par with windows 10 so I think I will be OK.

In few words: it’s the same, not the best neither the worst.
