Blind people , how do you feel when reading using braille if you use (self.Blind)
submitted by Remarkable-Eagle947
I meant , how do you understand , what goes on in your mind , do you vocalize etc

I picture things described. I hear character voices (especially if I'm reading something I've also heard in audiobook or seen on TV). I don't vocalise in my head as such - I don't hear the narration of the story as it were, hard to describe. I will sometimes read a particular passage aloud just to hear the metre. None of this holds true for nonfiction.

so is it like a understanding , like you get something but cant define it in words etc

well, it's all words, isn't it? I mean if I read about people playing tennis, for example, I might hear sounds from tennis games. If I am reading science fiction and a spaceship blows up, I sort of imagine how that might sound based on film and TV and all that.
I don't feel that the information comes from a mystical, unclarifiable source; Braille is very much like reading print but with fingers instead of eyes. intead

I usually vocalise while reading, but part of that is because I have always liked reading out loud. With Braille I used to have to decode twice, because of all the short form "grade 2" symbols, but as I got older the translating became automatic.
