Have any redditors “blind since birth” had a near death experience?(self.Blind)

I’m just curious what it was like. Everyone always hears of people having “visions” during them so I wonder what these experiences are for those blind since birth.

I haven't but I have astral projected a couple times.
Once I woke up out of my body, rolled over and landed back inside of it.
The second time I did it willingly and was able to leave my body from the side and managed to do a half circle like thing, I felt very aware of myself and my... Meness, spirit and how much of it there was.

I appreciate your concern, but I’m okay.

No way, that's so cool! How did you learn to astral project? I'm fully blind and so curious about that.

I don't really know, I can't do it when stressed out sadly but perhaps you'll be able to. There's r/astralprojection if you're interested in asking there.
You can pm me if you like but I might not respond straight away due to time differences and things like that.

I believe as a sighted person that those descriptions " life flashed before me" etc is more to be taken as memories, a run through of your life, so a vi person can of course have flashes of memories.
Or does OP mean visions of god/angels etc

A lot of times in NDEs sighted ppl quote about beings that they can see and also they quote about seeing visions of their family members. So it is about some form of visual.

No I mean do blind since birth people have out of body experiences in NDEs where they can see their own bodies the same way that those with sight claim to have? Do blind since birth people have visions during NDEs the same way sighted people have? It would be significant if those who could never see in life were able to have visions the same as sighted people during their experiences because it would prove that the near death experience visions were real.

I just read a study based on an extensive survey of both those who became blind at some point during their lives and those who have been blind since birth who have either had a near death experience or an out-of-body experience, and nearly all of them reported to have seen and had visual experiences much the same as sighted people. This just about proves some sort of transcendent visual abilities. Those congenitally blind cannot have gained visual knowledge in their lifetime but were able to see, once outside of their bodies. This is a significant revelation for me, as I've studied for decades, the subject of experience beyond the physical body and life after death. And this is yet another piece of compelling evidence that we are immortal spirits inhabiting a transient physical body. The list of evidence keeps on building!
