I just ordered the Google pixel 6. Does anyone have any advice or tips for learning to use android and talkback? (self.Blind)

A little late to the party but I'm using a pixel for running Android 12 so it should be similar enough to what you are using, biggest advice I can give is ditch Gmail / Chrome for Outlook / edge as the Microsoft apps for Android for some reason are better in being accessible than Google's own in a lot of cases. I personally have the TalkBacks verbosity level set to I believe it's called low which turns down how much it tries to describe regarding object type, number of objects in a grid or whatnot, and I have turned the reduced window announcement delay under the talkback developer settings on which seems to speed up how quickly it tells you what you've selected especially when switching between Windows and objects and makes the whole thing feel a little bit quicker. I highly recommend using three button navigation and the talkback one finger gestures over trying to use full gesture navigation. Probably other things I can think of but spacing on them currently, if you have any questions feel free to message.

Talkback isn’t as robust as voiceover. Web browsing in particular is sluggish regardless of the phone’s processing power. I switched back to iOS after over 2 years of Android because I found myself having to work around its limited accessibility. Perhaps you’re use case will mean you have a better experience though. Android’s screen magnifier is better than iOS I think. You’ll also find more versatile apps thanks to android being open. Definitely get some 3rd party TTS voices. Google”s are harsh and unpleasant, but you can buy Eloquence (the one JAWS uses).

You cannot, that runs in 32b which stopped being supported in both iOS and Android awhile ago, like several years.
