What is the ideal page size to read a pdf? (self.Blind)

I am making a digital zine for a school project and would like it to be as accessible as possible but it has to be submitted as a PDF. What are the ideal dimensions of the page? I also read somewhere that each line should not have more than 80 characters. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!

I wouldn’t worry so much about page dimensions as whether or not it’s optimized for OCR so screen readers can pick up the text. No artsy fonts either for those that use residual vision and magnification.

Thank you so much for your response. Follow up question: when navigating a pdf would you prefer that it is a single long page or multiple pages?
