Hi, I’m shopping for Christmas for someone who is fully blind and also has some memory issues. She would like wireless ear buds for Christmas. She’s had some issues in the past with these. One of the problems being able to get them connect to Bluetooth easily. Any help and/or suggestions are appreciated? Feel free to throw in some good Braille board games too.

For a board game, they make Monopoly and Scrabble that are accessible.
What about AfterShocks for bluetooth? They go above your ears (not really the best way to explain it) but you can listen to music and still hear what's around you which I think is very useful.

I have these and they’re great.

The "speaker" portion actually sits on front of the ear, towards the face, resting on the mandible. The bone conduction technology allowed for hearing the environment around you, while still allowing to hear the speaker.

I use something different because I don't like wearing earbuds in public because I like hearing what's going on around me and I feel like I'm being rude interacting with someone while earbuds are in my ears. I use Jlab Jbuds Frames, which are directional speakers that slip onto your glasses. I really like mine. Once they initially paired, you just turn them on and they connect. I bought mine several months ago for $50 from Jlabs, but they sell them at Walmart and Best Buy too.

Cool, thanks for the suggestion. He doesn’t wear glasses but I’ll take a look at their site.

I got a pair from JBL as a birthday gift. Don't remember the exact model right now.
They're amazing and connect easily after you've set them up. They also have an app which is fairly accessible with voiceover but I rarely use it since you can use most of the features by simply tapping the earbuds with one finger.
The best part is that they have both a mode for noise canceling and one for ambient awareness. However, the mics that pick up sounds around you aren't the best quality, so I suggest not using both earbuds at once while walking in areas with lots of traffic.
The big con for me is that it feels like they fall out easily, so I have to push them back in since I'm scared of losing one and not being able to find it again.

My favorite earbuds are PowerBeats Pro which clip over the ear too so I don’t lose them when they inevitably pop out of my ears and my Aftershocks bone conduction headphones. Both were easy to pair with my iPhone although the Beats (being Apple products) had a superior experience.

Enacfire is a pretty solid brand. The Bluetooth is flawless with my phone.

If they have a iPhone look at air pods as they connect instantly and you can use one at a time so you can still hear around you
