Omg YES! I feel the same exact way! As someone who has enough vision to see whats going on on the screen I don't need audio descriptions. I don't like asking for help with stuff either so oftentimes when there is text on the screen I try to read it myself. By the time I realize I cant and ultimately ask someone to read it aloud to me, the text is already gone.

Makes me wonder if there's any streaming services specifically for blind people. Could be an opportunity here for that. Probably could be marketed to sighted people for times when they don't want to be looking at a screen
