Is the embed YouTube player on websites inaccessible or is it just me? (self.Blind)

When I double tap play button on a YouTube embed for my website, nothing happens. I am a voiceover user and I really don’t want to be a blind guy making inaccessible websites.
For context, embed was done with the Wordpress block editor. Any help would be appreciated.

Works fine on a computer at least. Not sure about iOS.

works for me most of the time. Doesn't always do so in reader view but the vast majority of websites with videos in surely use an imbed?
