Is there a iPhone like keyboard for a Google Pixel 5?(self.Blind)
submitted by Blind247365
I have a Pixel 5 but I can’t stand G board because I want to be able to tap on a letter and then double tap to enter it in the input field just like an iPhone keyboard.
I tried going into the G board settings but I haven’t had any luck. I might not be looking in the right place.
Thanks in advance for the advice and recommendations.

Hey pixel friend there is a way to turn this on in talkback settings! First you open the talkback menu by tapping the screen with 3 fingers > go click talkback settings > scroll down to advanced settings click that > look for typing preference and click the one you want! Hope this helps

Well you're in there I would also recommend under the developer settings turn on reduced window announcement delay and turning verbosity to I think it's low if you're used to navigating with talkback as these settings really seem to speed up things and cut down on how long talk back is rambling at you.

I don’t have an Android phone, but this is what I found.
Incidentally, most iPhone users turn that setting to the way Android does it by default, lifting your finger to type a letter. Many people find it much more efficient and faster.

I use the way where I find the letter, then tap. I do not swipe my finger then lift the tap.
