This just me. In my state (and 46 other states) it is legal for me to drive. That is not a dangerous situation I would put other people in.

Can you see signage in time to respond while driving? Are you confident you can see and respond to other drivers, pedestrians etc?

And since each state has different rules, I don’t know what is legal in yours.

And like I said I could legally drive in 47 states. I don’t drive. I walk into things on my blind side, I don’t want drive into something on my blindside going 50 mph.

I’m legally blind and no longer drive. The government’s definition of legal blindness is 20/200 or worse in your best eye, or visual field of 20 degrees or less in your best eye. NOT correctable with glasses or contacts. Get an appointment with a low vision clinic. They have more resources than a regular optometrist.

Edit: added about not able to be corrected with glasses or contacts.

Could you get glasses with some sort of strap on the back that helps keep them up? Not the chains people use that hang them on their neck but an adjustable length thing that goes around the back of your head to help keep them up.
