Netflix has thousands of described programs in Canada. I guarantee that I can find you stuff you'll like if you tell me what you're interested in.

Disney+, Prime Video and Apple TV+ are available in Canada and also include a substantial amount of described content between them which you may also enjoy.

The UK has BBC iPlayer, and 4OD which you could watch with a vpn?
we use netflix and disney+ for the most part apart from those and there's a reasonable amount.

They require an email address and password, but no tax or anything beyond that other than a button press to agree you have a licence. There's probably a VPN blacklist, I wouldn't know.
You can browse their audio-described category without watching though, it's almost a given that the vault will have the stuff because it's so easy to wrip.

well no, naturally the main thrust of every video streaming platform is going to be the visual. Otherwise it'd be called ranio.

I grew up with 5 TV channels and no description. In my 20's, I'd have 1 described movie a week if I were lucky.
these days almost everything new my child watches on Netflix or disney+ is described. 100% of the period dramas, thrillers and sitcoms my wife likes are described, and roughly 2 thirds of the documentaries and leality shows she chooses to watch.
